Refund Policy

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us regarding a possible return.

In relation to these rules that Ottica Gioberti reports in detail, we wanted to inform you that:

The European law NI EN ISO 16321-1:2022 is the reference standard for PPE for eye protection, which includes spectacles and sunglasses.

According to this law and the "Exceptions" section of the return rules, glasses once opened and WORN can no longer be reused by other people to avoid dangerous infections, COVID etc.

According to this European regulation of 2022, glasses are not included in the goods that can be returned.

To accommodate the customer, we at Ottica Gioberti allow returns but with a PARTIAL REFUND of 60% of the price of the glasses.

Returned glasses cannot be resold and must be sent back to the factory for rigorous inspection, disinfection and restoration of the original packaging, warranty seals and various accessories.

We understand that this may seem expensive, but it is required by European law and by the rules of Ottica Gioberti under "Exceptions".

If the glasses you receive are defective, we assure you that all costs will be covered by us, replacing the glasses with new ones and NOT refunded.

We would like to remind you that accepting damaged packages from the courier releases the courier from any liability and the package is considered intact because you have signed the receipt.

All parcels have GPS and the BRT.it courier gives us proof of delivery, so it is impossible for a parcel not to be delivered or to be delivered OPEN.

Having read and understood these rules and having decided to send us the glasses back, we kindly ask you to send us the tracking number so that we can monitor the package.

As per the return rules that you read, the refund will be made only after the arrival of the package and never before.
